Obituary

Barbara Damlos-Ebstein, age 60, died peacefully in her adopted hometown of San Francisco, CA surrounded by what she loved most, friends and family. She was born in Pasadena, California where she was the youngest child of five.

She graduated from UC Davis with a degree in political science before earning her law degree from USF. She then worked 21 fulfilling years as an attorney for PG&E, also leading and mentoring the company’s diversity summer intern program as well as the company’s holiday gift program for disadvantaged youth.

Barbara is loved by her husband of nearly 30 years, Gregory Ebstein, as well as her children, Joel, Jack and Danielle.

Barbara enjoyed playing family tennis, runs with the dog, sister weekends, traveling the world, laughing uncontrollably with friends and family, advice giving and bringing joy to all around her. She is survived by her siblings Kathe (Walter Nelson) and Terry (Todd Mitchell), and a happy tribe of nieces and nephews. She joins mother and father (Kay and Fred Damlos), brother (Jack Damlos) and sister (Nancy Silva).
